According to the Acts of the Apostles, written by Saint Luke under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Jesus ascended into heaven forty days after His resurrection from the dead. Although the bishop has moved the obligation to the following Sunday we are still permitted to celebrate it by praying the Traditional Latin Mass. In order to allow this the Thursday evening Mass on May 21st will be a Traditional Latin Mass. It will still be followed by the holy hour with confessions.
